I’m Kayla, your Destination Wedding, Honeymoon and All-Inclusive Resort Expert! Let’s rewind a bit, because I wasn’t always the travel expert I am today and had no idea how to plan my own honeymoon!

I’m a former Radiology Technologist and Sports Imaging Liaison for the Kansas City Royals and the Chiefs (ask me about Salvy spraying me with champagne or walking in the World Series Parade).

When I started planning my honeymoon, I’d come home from the hospital to do what everyone does... search the internet for “best honeymoon”. I GET IT - probably like you, I got stressed and overwhelmed quickly with the endless choices that all became a blur. I even crowd-sourced my Honeymoon on Facebook, which just left me more confused, until I learned the benefits of working with a Travel Agent!

We hired a travel agent and had the dreamiest Honeymoon we could’ve ever imagined! I truly believe this is where the spark to change careers began, but I wouldn’t truly realize this until a few years later when I became a twin mom.

Once I had my twins, something inside my soul began to stir! My heart for helping others, my wanderlust spirit and love of travel quickly came together. I took a leap of faith, left the Radiology career I loved and started working to become the Overland Park travel agent my clients know and love today! Since starting my career as a Travel Agent, I’ve visited 100+ resorts throughout the World, including Mexico and the Caribbean. While I don’t like to brag, you should know I’m the real deal, right?!

I’m a Certified Travel Agent (CTA) from the Travel Institute, an American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) member, Destination Wedding Honeymoon Specialists Association (DWHSA) member, graduate of Destination Wedding University and holder of multiple destination expert certificates from various destination tourism boards and resort partners. I’ve put the work in to be the expert, so you don’t have to!
